Savannah State University (SSU) is the first public historically black college or university (HBCU) in the state of Georgia and the first institution of higher learning in the city of Savannah.

We maintain SSU’s 64 residential facilities and nine mechanical spaces across 681,219 square feet that includes 2,668 beds. This housing is split 20% traditional student housing and 80% apartment living.

We perform all preventive and emergency maintenance for SSU’s student housing to provide efficient, healthy, sustainable environments for students, faculty and staff.

Our in-house facilities maintenance team addresses proactive work orders for preventive maintenance, quick responses to corrective maintenance, and delivers professional and respectful responses to emergencies. In addition to daily operations we also provide annual inspections and FCAR presentations.

Savannah is a coastal campus that requires additional maintenance services due to the elements. Due to the overwhelming success at performing maintenance services on SSU housing, we have recently been invited to bid on facilities management for the entire campus.
