Announcing the formation of Hunt Campus Solutions (HCS), a specialized business built on CGL’s legacy higher education facility management portfolio. HCS can leverage Hunt Development Group’s design, development, and finance capabilities providing turnkey tailored solutions for today’s campus environments.
2022
Hunt celebrates 75 years of service.
2020
Hunt launches an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiative – formalizing its long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility.
2012
Hunt acquires CGL, expanding its capabilities in social infrastructure.
2002
Carter Goble Associates merges with Lee Design & Management to create Carter Goble Lee companies (CGL), thereby expanding services to include program management and facility maintenance.
2000
Hunt is awarded its first public-private partnership (P3) project under the Military Housing Privatization Initiative (MHPI).
1993
Lee Design & Management is founded to provide program management and facility maintenance services
1987
Woody and Gayle Hunt establish the Cimarron Foundation – now known as the Woody and Gayle Hunt Family Foundation
1979
Hunt starts its property management division with Shady Oaks in Fort Worth, Texas, a 138-unit affordable housing community developed, built and owned by Hunt.
1978
Hunt begins its private development activities with Caprock Apartments, a 292-unit complex in El Paso, Texas.
1974
Carter Goble Associates was founded in 1974 by Steve Carter and Bob Goble to provide planning and design services for the justice sector.
1973
Hunt is awarded a contract with the U.S. Army for 1,000 housing units at Fort Hood, positioning Hunt as a leader in military housing construction.
1957
Hunt forms a partnership to include architecture, design-build, and general contractor services for schools, car dealerships, and civic projects.
1947
M.L. Hunt and his sons Jack and Kelly started Hunt Sales Company in El Paso, Texas. It was a small family business specializing in retail lumber and hardware, built on the core values of integrity and performance.
